Testimonials

Kimba is incredible, her dedication, and heartfelt service is second to none. We are so grateful to have been referred to The Last Hurrah for my Dads funeral. It’s beautiful to know he was treated with such respect and dignity. With such a beautiful and personal ceremony. I would recommend 1000 times over. And as much as I hope I never have to plan another funeral. If I have to, I would look no further. A much better experience than I ever could have hoped for.

In our hour of most dire need, Kimba and the Last Hurrah team were there for us in ways too numerous and profound to properly describe. I’m not remotely spiritual or religious, but stumbling upon Last Hurrah felt like the closest thing to the uvinverse coming to the rescue that I can imagine. Dad and I couldn’t have asked for more compassionate and competent support.

They didn’t just help us create the perfect send-off for my incredible mum; they really got to know her and helped us grieve.

In the hours and days after the funeral, we heard from so many of the guests to say they had never seen anything like it. It was a truly unique event for a unique woman; Last Hurrah are the future of funerals!

The memorial and gathering Kimba organised for our son and brother was more than just a funeral or ceremony. She captured who Andy was and his spirit. We were impressed by Kimba's knowledge of the industry and her personal caring and friendly approach. She provided an affordable and sustainable memorial. But more than that, she gave us a deeply personal and caring experience which was totally appropriate for the gathering and forever remembered and appreciated by all who loved our son/brother. She guided us through an extremely difficult and sad period. She anticipated our needs and kept in constant communication with the family throughout the process. We cannot even begin to express how eternally grateful and moved we were by her work and presence

I instantly felt very comfortable with you Kimba. It really made me feel that an old friend took over the reigns with thoughtful suggestions and then effectively putting everything in place and in such a short time frame which in turn enabled the Memorial to be such a befitting celebration, with caring people coming together. So many new faces, some lasting friendships created through this tragic experience.
